OFFICIAL. Usyk has decided on his next opponent

The director of the team of the absolute world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk, Serhiy Lapin, spoke about the Ukrainian’s further plans in a comment to Ring Magazine.

According to him, Usyk will return to the ring in the first half of 2026, where he will hold a mandatory title defense against the winner of the Joseph Parker – Fabio Wardley bet.

Lapin also noted that the champion’s recovery is going well: “He feels good and is in great shape,” the team representative noted.

Recall that on July 19, 2025, a rematch between Oleksandr Usyk (Ukraine) and Daniel Dubois (Great Britain) took place at Wembley Stadium in London. The Ukrainian knocked out his opponent in the fifth round and suddenly became the absolute world heavyweight champion.
